Italian chamber organ | |
This Italian style chamber organ was designed and voiced by the organ maker Riccardo Lorrenzini. It is based on an original in Osimo in the Marches. It has a ripieno of open metal pipes 8'+4'+2' with a powerful full sound in the Italian style. Unlike the original instrument, we have included a 8' bordone to give the possibility of a softer sound, useful for accompanying solo voices or small ensembles. It can be pumped manually or with an eletric ventilator. it has a 4 octave range C-d'' with a transposing keyboard. The pipe sleeves permit a wide variety of tunings from equal temperamenr to mean tone. Listen to the Italian chamber organ: |
